Components of an Effective Presentation

Effective Presentaion Content

The content -- what you say and how you say it -- is crucial in reaching your audience.

The most crucial component of an effective presentation is connecting with your audience…and that starts well before you get up to speak!

The content — what you say and how you say it — is crucial in reaching your audience. Researching your audience then choosing the right messages, supporting information, language and visuals will allow you to speak to them in a way they will understand and take in. And it will give you a much better chance of convincing them to do what you are asking of them.

We will identify the components of an effective presentation which can serve as the foundation for almost any communication. You will learn to build in opportunities for interaction with the audience, bridging the way to connecting with them in your delivery.

Presentaion Delivery

Delivery is all about connecting with your audience

Presentation Delivery is all about connecting with your audience. Although not a Performance or a Lesson, a presentation is ideally enjoyable for all involved and informative for the audience.

By focusing on tools that allow the speaker to form a human connection with the audience, we can maximize the bond already forged in the content. As a speaker, you can thus move the audience to trust and believe in you and take the action you are requesting.

Your experience as a presenter is equally important. A nervous speaker is rarely able to communicate his or her most effective message and is blocked from connecting with the audience. We simultaneously work on physical relaxation and the mental/emotional aspects of anxiety. With the right tools and practice, you can be a comfortable, confident speaker.
