Samsung Korea: President of Visual Display

This president was to be one of the keynote speakers at the Consumer Electronics Convention in Las Vegas. Not too confident of his English skills, he felt very nervous. In Korea and then Las Vegas, I adjusted the lengthy and theatrical presentation to make it comfortable for him linguistically. I formatted the TelePrompter script to help him with pronunciation, emphasis, and meaning. Finally, on location I coached him to improve his pronunciation, “Americanize” his presentation approach, and enliven his delivery.

I trained the founders and executives in Presentation Development and Delivery. Many were technical types very unfamiliar and uncomfortable with public speaking. We worked on incorporating their natural story-telling ability into a formal presentation setting.
